Wow Wow Wow that is what i have to say about the Heartfelt Stampin Up (R) event in Auckland last saturday. This lovely wreath was made by the very talented Sophie Zadeh. She demonstrated some lovely Xmas decorations using Stampin Up (R) products so I am really excited to have a go at making this sometime soon.
I am so amazed at the talent that we have here in New Zealand and with about 130 Demonstartors and guests attending this event I came away inspired so I have been busy when able doing lots of little things starting to think ahead for Christmas which my family is hosting this year.
We also so had demonstrate, the talents of Julia Leece, Sharlene Mayer and Barbara Bicknell. These ladies rock and their presentations were fab so watch this space as I recreate some of the things they showed us.
I love this technique that seems to have taken thestamping world by storm. Here is my take using the Summer Solstice set and my colours are Certain Celery, Perfect Plum and So Saffron with Whisper White.
If you are a Black Caps fan (I am) what a great win over India in the Twenty/20 Cricket and great start before the world cup which starts next Wednesday.
I am really enjoying the Snow Flurry Bigz die and the Champagne Glimmer paper. This card also showcases the Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder using Very Vanilla Cardstock. I have also used Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and Seam Binding Ribbon. I am looking forward to this Saturday when lots of Stampin Up (R) Demonstrators and guests gather in Auckland (NZ) for our Heartfelt Event to learn and share.
Recieved mypre order goddies last week and I have been having a play. I found this delightful card template on someones blog (sorry did not note the name) Double Swing Card and thought i would have a go. I have used the following Stampin Up (R) items.
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler and Champagne glitter paper. Tools: Bigz Die Snow Flurry, Lables Collection Framelits, Circle Punch from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, 1" Circle Punch. Others: Snail, Glue Dots.
I found the best way to attach the beautiful glimmer paper was with glue dots.

Meet Scruffy
This is the newest member of our family. Rod and they boys really wanted a puppy and i didn't because all the usual stuff would be left to me (training, cleaning up pee and poo, feeding etc) anyway to cut a long story short Rod came across him and it was love at first sight (can't say i blame him) so we got this tiny little fella about 4 1/2 months ago (he will be 7 months on 14th Sept his birthday is valentines day!!) and he has made a big impact in our family and is a real gem at times. I will see if this works and post more soon.
